Welcome to Selyado.app. Selyado is officially registered with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) as SELYADO WEB PORTAL SERVICES. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our platform.
1. Information We Collect
To provide you with secure and instant job alerts, we collect the following data:
- Account Data: When you log in using Facebook or Google, we securely receive your full name, email address, and profile picture.
- Alert Preferences: We store the countries and job keywords you select to customize your job alerts.
- Payment Data: If you upgrade to a Premium tier, your payment is processed securely by PayMongo. Selyado only stores a payment reference number and your subscription expiry date. We never see or store your credit card or e-wallet details.
- Usage Data (Analytics): We use Google Analytics with IP anonymization and cookies to understand how visitors use Selyado so we can improve it. This information is aggregate and is not used to personally identify you.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data strictly to:
- Create and secure your Selyado account.
- Send you job alerts matching your preferences via email.
- Provide customer support and verify your Premium status.
3. Third Party Services We Trust
We do not sell your personal data to anyone. We share data only with secure, enterprise-grade infrastructure partners to operate the platform:
- Supabase: Secure database and authentication hosting.
- Cloudflare: Global website hosting and security.
- PayMongo: Secure payment processing.
- Brevo: Delivery of job alerts and transactional emails.
- Google Analytics: Privacy-conscious, IP-anonymized website usage analytics.
4. Data Deletion Instructions (Facebook and Google)
You have the absolute right to delete your account and all associated data from Selyado at any time. The fastest way is self-service: sign in, open My Profile, tap Delete my account, and confirm. Your profile, alert preferences, and history are erased immediately. Note that any active Premium time is forfeited on deletion and is non-refundable.
You may also request deletion by email:
- Send an email to mariel@selyado.app from the email address linked to your account.
- Use the exact subject line: "Data Deletion Request".
We will completely erase your profile, alert preferences, and history from our database within 7 days and send you a confirmation. For step-by-step instructions, see our Data Deletion page.
